An Introduction to Restaurante Atlântico

A smart and comfortable restaurant serving a menu of regional and international cuisine accompanied by a choice of fine Portuguese wines.
Expertly catered for by owner / chef Paul Wortelboer, who will not compromise on the quality of his creations. Together with the management expertise of his wife Joanna and the attentive service of their staff, will make a visit to this restaurant a delightful and memorable dining experience.

Our 2010 promotions!

In our continuing drive to make your dining experience even more special ( and affordable ) we are pleased to offer you two promotions for 2010.

The first is our Special Menu, a menu that will change monthly and will give you up to 35% discount against selected items on our main menu!

The second is our 'Friends of Atlântico' loyalty card. This will give you a 10% discount on your fist visit! Following visits will give you increasing amounts of money off. €2,50 on your 2nd visit - €3,00 on the 3rd - €5,00 on the 4th - €5,50 on the 5th and €7,50 on the 6th. That's a possible saving of €23,50 ( not forgetting the 10% saving on your first visit )! Use the discount card each visit or save the discounts up! Give the card to a friend if you like the choice is yours, but only until November.

Why this Site?

The purpose of this website is to introduce ourselves to new guests and of equal importance to let past and frequent guests know what we are up to these days.
We know lots of you have a bond with the town as well as our restaurant (as we do have many returning guests). So, please, join us and our website and keep in touch with us and others ( as we like to call them Friends of Atlântico )

Where & When

• We are located just below the Church in the town square ( toward the seafront ) and are opposite the Fort.
• We are currently Open from Tuesday to Sunday.
• Opening Hours are from 19.00 to 22.30.
• Booking in advance is strongly recommended especially during the high season.
• Children are most welcome.
